Brief Description

 

We are currently seeking an Operation Manager to join the Dunkin' Donuts team!  We are looking for someone to specifically support Miami area.

The Operations Manager is the point of contact for an assigned group of franchisees and their restaurants.  They are the key business partner with the franchisee and are responsible for coaching and holding their franchisees accountable to the standards and reputation of the brand while driving sales and profitability and enhancing guest satisfaction.  The Operations Manager is responsible for the performance of their franchisees and strives for continual improvement.  They create growth opportunities through effective business planning, drive restaurant excellence through coaching and action planning, and build effective relationships through mutual trust and respect.  

Detailed Description

 

         Utilizes our coaching model by seeking first to understand, providing candid feedback, offering suggestions, and committing time and resources.  Understands what motivates each franchisee, checks for understanding through open ended questions and active listening, and supports feedback with data.

         Ensures effective action planning through root cause analysis, creation and execution of action plan, and scheduled follow-ups that drive accountability

         Drives fast and friendly Service with Speed through focus on report analysis, staffing and deployment, Team Service execution, visible and active management, and standards execution

         Drives Coffee Excellence through education and coaching on standards and procedures as well equipment calibration and maintenance

         Drives Order Accuracy through knowledge of performance and coaching on standards and procedures

         Ensures compliance with non-negotiable basics such as Food Safety, approved equipment, and required upgrades

         Collaborates with Operations Review Manager; reviews results weekly to align focus on what matters most

         Provides recognition

         Distributes time appropriately to have higher visibility with their lower performing franchisees

         Performs all scheduled follow-ups on action plans in place

         Consults with each franchisee once per month to analyze assessment scores, capture root cause operational issues, target improvement opportunities, and drive robust and high impact action planning

         Actively coaches for continued improvement in restaurant excellence with specific focus on execution of systems and processes

         Leads DAC meetings in collaboration with elected franchisee leader

         Drives accountability of the franchisees in their contractual obligations

         Role models ?At Your Service Leadership? with franchisee community and builds effective relationships through mutual trust and respect using a Fair and Firm approach

         Partners with the franchisees on the value and implementation of their business plan and the business review process as a method of planned growth and profitability

         Evaluates margins and identifies roadblocks to franchisee profitability and takes appropriate action for solving issues

         Establishes goals and communicates results; shares best practices and encourages collaboration with franchisees in portfolio

         Influences franchisees on the value of the people development component of their business plan and provides guidance on organizational structure and succession planning

         Consults with their franchisees on new product introductions, new restaurant openings, and bakery production

         Evaluates each franchisee network on the seven components of the Franchise Business Review providing feedback and guidance for improvement

Job Requirements

The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

 

         Five plus years restaurant operations management experience with multi-unit leadership experience, preferably QSR

         Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience

         Relationship builder; able to motivate

         Analysis and problem solving skills

         Communication skills to include coaching and influencing

         Drives business results

         Financial acumen

         Operations expert

         Disciplined follow-up
